For the production of furniture in NOTI we use advanced technologies that allow us to create high quality ambitious and unique products. Many elements of the finishing are handmade, which is associated to attention to detail, which is extremely important for us. An inherent stage of our design process is product prototyping. It allows to develop the project, improve, test, refine details. 

how do we create new projects?

Designer presents us a preliminary drawing of the new model (often in response to the brief), if it is accepted, a technical drawing with dimensions is created. After that we often make the first models. During this time, the design of the furniture strongly evolves. We work on the construction aspects, improve proportions, select materials. Sometimes there are several models to test and correct before the proper model is achieved. On this basis we create the prototype of the furniture using the chosen materials – in a 1:1 scale. Sometimes a couple of prototypes are made until the right effect is achieved. This is the stage of close cooperation between the designer and the technologist. Prototyping is a kind of a research workshop for us, a very important part of the work on the collection. It gives the opportunity to test different solutions which is crucial in the case of upholstered furniture, where ergonomics is very important. Here, function must meet the form.

In Noti’s portfolio we offer furniture based on both wooden and metal constructions. We use high quality foams and advanced technology of foam injections. We work on the basis of ISO standards 9000, maintaining the high standards of our founding  company which produces office furniture Balma SA, which is also a strategic supplier of wooden and metal elements.

Fabrics are our passion. They quickly react to trends and are currently very actively expanding on the field of design. It is the form of the upholstery which is a distinctive feature of our collections. We reach out for the highest quality leather, fine wool and modern materials with a unique texture all in original colors. They surprise with the design, but also with their functionality, ease of cleaning, lack of kneading, durability. We work with top producers including, among others, Alcantara, Kvadrat, Camira and Gabriel, which implement projects for the world's best brands.
