That's how it looked like - arena DESIGN 2017 photo story!
We wish to express our thanks to all the people who have visited BALMA and NOTI exhibition, a part of this year’s arena DESIGN. The location of our stand was really favourable – right next to the Forum and Top Design exhibition – the annual furniture and design fairs competition. The words: “Bye, bye office”, being part of the mutual concept developed by BALMA and NOTI, attracted much attention. Our exhibition was divided into different colours to demonstrate its particular functions.
Lots of visitors were interested in the green island with a variety of plants, which was located right in the centre of our stand. This was the place that encouraged those who were ready and brave enough to relax while doing some simple stretching and concentration exercises run by Julia Durkiewicz, a yoga instructor. A mysterious Sleeping Room from SoundRoom acoustic furniture system also enjoyed great interest. When the visitors went inside and sat down there, they were astonished hearing the chill-out music, which was coming from a loudspeaker – a special gadget which was invisibly installed there. The rest area, designed in a cool light pink colour exhibited an outstanding Teddy Bear armchair with the new Umami contract fabric, new Mamu chairs made from grey moulded felt, SoundRoom phone booths, a workstation for individual work - also made from moulded felt, Rollo ball/pouf andBalma PLUS desk with an electrical height adjustment with an acoustic deflector as well as Balma PLUS roofed sofas. Our visitors could engage in conversations and hold discussions in the dark-coloured section of the office space with the minimalist conference table from H2 collection, a SoundRoom free-standing conference room as well as a tall, highly functional table of BALMA PLUS system accompanied by Mishell hoker stools by NOTI. The visitors had a chance to see the debut of BALMA new reception counter with its pure geometric form, which could instantly be associated with fine craft because of close attention to every detail and precision of making, a table mounted on the wooden structure from BALMA Simplic collection, Mishell tables on wooden foundations with tabletops made from wood veneer, and Manta Lounge armchair with a footrest, suitable for the manager’s office.
