Visionaries and businessmen: a book about Polish furniture producents

We are pleased to recommend a new book on the Polish publishing market: Visionaries and Businessmen, containing an extensive interview with President Ryszard Balcerkiewicz, the founder of Balma and Noti. 

The author, Marek Hryniewicki, also provides interviews with five other successful owners of major furniture companies including Jerzy Krzanowski – Nowy Styl Group, Marek Liberacki – Libro, Jan Szynaka – Szynaka Meble, Piotr Voelkel – Meble Vox and Leszek Wójcik – Meble Wójcik. 

In candid conversations, they talk about the development of their professional careers which, in the majority of cases, had humble beginnings in small craftsman workshops located in basements and garages, in the late 1980s.
