During this year’s arena DESIGN, NOTI marked its presence in three areas: a best design award, an exhibition of the University of Arts in Poznań and an exhibition of the Association of Industrial Designers.
TOP DESIGN 2016 featured as many as three contest entries under the NOTI brand: SOSA – a sofa designed by Piotr Kuchciński, ROLLO pouffe by Katarzyna Okińczyc and TULLI – an armchair by Tomek Rygalik. The latter designer received an award in the office category. The contest jury explained their choice by stating: TULLI is a consistently executed, coherent design idea applied to a great number of chair variants.T he three contest entries were showcased in Hall 5 on the premises of Poznań International Fair.
NOTI was also involved, for the third time already, in organizing the exhibition of designs/prototypes prepared by students of the University of Arts in Poznań within the framework of PE-P, a signature programme initiated by Professor Katarzyna Laskowska. Zofia Żadan displayed NAPPI, a line of plywood furniture, while Paulina Dera and Aleksandra Zdrodowska showed their TIPPI – a design for a multifunctional geometrically-shaped sofa dedicated to large spaces.
Pin it! was an exhibition showcasing the designs executed by members of the Association of Industrial Designers. Visitors had an opportunity to have a closer look at NOTI’s flagship designs including the Teddy Bear armchair, EASY – a furniture set by Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski, BIBIK sofa and SU chairs by Renata Kalarus.
