Sea Towers apartment in Gdynia
2017
The apartment with a view of the Gdańsk Bay and Kościuszki Square is located on the 12th floor of the Sea Towers building in Gdynia. The facility is located only 12 meters from the shoreline. The interior design by the architect, Paulina Kasprowicz from the meinDESIGN studio in Bydgoszcz, is characterized by minimalism. The design is to make and associate with the nearby sea visible from behind the high glazing. The colors, textures and decorations are to play this role. Dominate simple forms and smooth surfaces. The colors have been narrowed down to white, light beiges, delicate grays and dark brown. This subdued color palette is broken by intense blue. In this shade there is a large, modular ROSCO sofa designed by Piotr Kuchciński in the day zone and beds in two bedrooms. The designer has combined modern maritime touches with a timeless elegance. The corner sofa is arranged in the same way as one of the outer walls of the building, at an angle of seventy degrees. The seaside atmosphere in the living room is maintained by designer seagull-shaped lamps, which blend with the decorative plaster on the walls. The apartment is also finished with white CLAPP tables, also designed by Piotr Kuchciński.
