Innovative polyester felt

In recent designs by Tomek Ryglik, we used a new material, i.e. lightweight, preformed polyester felt, to obtain innovative forms.

In Mamu seats it was employed to create an ergonomic sitting area which keeps "working" and adapts to the body during any tilting or turning.

For SoundRoom, the nonwoven fabric covers both sides of the core made from cardboard honeycomb with a hexagonal cell. The thermoformed product is a lightweight, extremely rigid, aesthetic, nice to touch and warm to feel panel with a characteristic wavy shape inside and flat surface outside.

The polyester felt, available also in light and dark grey, does not need any time-consuming maintenance. Any stains and bruises should be removed right after they appear. You may use a sponge or a white cloth and lukewarm water with a mild detergent to clean it. The efficiency of the cleaning agent should be tested on a small, inconspicuous surface to avoid any discolouration or roughness. Do not rub the surface excessively. The coating should not be cleaned with any aggressive solvent-based agents or any abrasive products for dry cleaning.
Thanks to its neutral colours and easy maintenance, both Mamu and Soundroom come into the modern office interiors and public spaces.
