IBB Długi Targ Hotel in Gdańsk
2018
The general concept underlying the interiors at IBB Hotel Długi Targ in Gdańsk comprises not only the facilities but also the hotel's visual identification system. The concept is thus consistent on all visual levels. It is based on the motif of amber, one of the most recognizable symbols of Gdańsk. Here, however, the motif has been creatively split into individual pixels and used as elements of a mosaic to create a completely new geometrical pattern. It is featured in the hotel's logo and, in addition, it is used as the main visual motif in the hotel rooms and, in a variety of creative interpretations, also in other facilities.
Carefully selected furniture and light fittings create a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the rooms. One of the suites features an LCD sofa by NOTI, and rooms have been furnished with Mishell armchairs and coffee tables and Linar Plus chairs. Additionally, the meeting room has been equipped with Mishell chairs, and the conference room – with Manta armchairs and Tritos coffee tables. Mishell barstools have been selected for the reception area and the restaurant.
The end result is a dynamic but colour-coordinated interior design scheme which, in accordance with the designers' concept, appeals to hotel guests of different age and sensitivity.
